On the first Friday of February, people with guitars, autoharps and trays of food were arriving at the home of University of Scranton professors Dan and Karyn Townsend. It was the Folk Lore Society of Northeast Pennsylvania's free monthly sing. Amidst the food and instruments was a carton of books. Sing leader Tony Kearney spoke to Suite 101 about FLS and Sing Out!'s Rise Up Singing.
