How many moviegoers have seen this small budget movie? Still, it turned out to be most profitable movie in terms of investment in 2010. Made on a shoestring budget of 0.77 million dollars, the movie managed to earn 1.764 million dollars, giving a return on investment of almost 129%.

Dabangg

One of the biggest movies of 2010 was Dabangg. While superstar Salman Khan’s presence does guarantee a certain weekend opening, no one had expected such a huge response to this movie. Although Dabangg did not have the highest production budget of 2010 but 12 million dollars were spent on the movie and it earned 23 million dollars. The return on investment was a whopping 91% proving that the movie had a huge mass appeal.
